A mid-sized NYC based law firm seeking an associate with approximately four to six years of experience for their busy tax practice group.  Successful candidates will have experience with income tax related issues (including partnership, corporate and/or individual); familiarity with non-income taxes (e.g., real estate transfer tax) would be a plus as well.  Candidates should be comfortable with analyzing the tax implications a variety of transactional documents such as partnership agreements, LLC operating agreements, merger agreements, etc.  Compensation will depend on experience but will likely be in the range of about $180,000-$200,000.  Lifestyle is reasonable, historically around 1800 billable hours annually.
