We have been exclusively retained by a well-established plaintiff-side securities litigation boutique — more than 20 attorneys strong — that seeks to hire for its Manhattan or Philadelphia-based office a litigation associate (about two to five years or so of experience) to join its securities class action practice group. The firm is widely respected in the securities fraud class action space and offers associates the opportunity to work on high-profile, complex matters with meaningful responsibility. The firm typically expects attorneys to be in the office four days per week.

Key Responsibilities
• Work on major securities fraud class action cases from inception through resolution
• Draft substantive and technical briefs
• Manage key aspects of cases, including discovery strategy and coordination
• Prepare for and participate in depositions
• Collaborate closely with partners on case strategy while exercising increasing independence
What the Firm Seeks
• Junior to mid-level associate with securities litigation experience or an interest in entering the area
• BigLaw background or strong credentials
• Admission to the New York Bar
• Substantial brief drafting experience, particularly in complex litigation matters
• Ability to manage sophisticated matters and assume meaningful responsibility
• Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work in-office Monday through Thursday (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
