Busy litigation boutique law firm in New Haven County, CT looking to hire a mid-level associate, as described below:

Key Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in courtroom proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations
• Take and defend depositions of parties and fact witnesses
• Research factual and legal issues and collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy
• Draft pleadings, memoranda, discovery demands and responses, motions, and briefs
• Examine records and transactions, underlying business disputes, and potential client claims
• Work across a variety of litigation practice areas including but not limited to antitrust, class actions, unfair trade practices, business disputes, and employment

What the Firm Seeks:
• 2-5+ years of litigation experience
• Work out of New Haven County office (full-time in office)
• Admission to the Connecticut Bar (required)
• Experience with Connecticut State Court and Federal Court practice
• Federal or state judicial clerkship experience preferred but not required
• Prior experience in commercial litigation preferred but not required
