Premier, well-established law firm in central Fairfield County, CT looking to hire an attorney with significant experience in handling real estate transactions, as described below:

Key Responsibilities:
• Primary focus will be on commercial and residential real estate transactions including:
o Buying /selling/financing/leasing/developing real property including retail, office and industrial properties, residential subdivisions, common interest communities, and shopping centers.
o 1031 tax free exchanges
o Preparation of common interest community documentation
o Title review
o Environmental matters relating to real property and business sales/purchases
o Representation of private lenders
•Additional experience in general business representation is preferred

What the Firm Seeks:
• Twelve to fifteen or more years of relevant experience
• Ideally experience representing clients as an associate/counsel/partner at a recognizable CT large or mid-sized law firm or in-house legal department
• A demonstrated skill in business generation would be a plus, although portable business is not a requirement
• Connecticut bar admission (or ability to waive in)
