We have been retained by a well-established, high-end, insurance defense coverage-focused boutique that seeks to hire a midlevel or senior insurance coverage attorney for its cyber coverage practice in New York City. The firm counsels insurers based in the United States and abroad on sophisticated coverage questions and handles significant coverage disputes nationwide. Its attorneys were among the first in the market to draft cyber policy forms and remain at the leading edge of the field.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate coverage and counsel carriers on first-party cyber incidents and third-party liability claims—including privacy, media, and technology E&O claims—arising under a range of cyber policy forms
• Work with insurers in the United States and internationally on claim responses, coverage analyses, and the resolution of coverage disputes
• Focus is mainly on advisory/transactional matters with less emphasis on litigation

What the Firm Seeks:
• 5 or more years of insurance coverage experience
• Cyber or E&O experience (must be first party-type insurance experience)
• Strong writing and analytical skills

What the Firm Offers:
• Base salary of about $185,000 - $225,000, depending on experience
• Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the firm’s Manhattan office, but the firm is also open to someone from Chicago, Buffalo, or Los Angeles
• Fully remote arrangements considered (compensation may be adjusted based on location)
• A cyber coverage practice that closely tracks developments in privacy, data security, and emerging technology
• The depth and resources of a larger firm in a collegial, close-knit setting
