We have been retained on a non-public search by a well-established, growing Manhattan real estate law firm that seeks to hire an experienced commercial litigator for a role focused on commercial litigation and real estate litigation matters. The firm offers a friendly environment with high morale and low attrition. This well-established firm serves as trusted counsel to some of the City’s most prominent property owners, operators, and developers. I have close ties with the firm and have placed attorneys there.

Key Responsibilities:
• Handle sophisticated commercial and real estate litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, briefs, substantive motions, and other litigation documents
• Take and defend depositions
• Argue motions and make court appearances
• Develop case strategy and manage matters throughout the litigation cycle

What the Firm Seeks:
• Seven or more years of litigation experience
• Significant New York State Supreme Court litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

What the Firm Offers:
• Base salary of one hundred eighty thousand to two hundred fifty thousand dollars, depending on experience
• Bonus of about five percent of base salary
• Healthcare benefits
• 401(k) with matching contributions
• Approximately seventeen hundred billable hours annually
• In-office four days per week
• Growing firm with a strong reputation in the New York real estate market
