Boutique Private Client Associate — NYC (Exclusive Search)

We have been exclusively retained by a well-established, prestigious boutique law firm that seeks to hire for its midtown Manhattan office a well-credentialed midlevel or junior associate for a role focused on high-net-worth private client matters. The firm counsels ultra-high net worth clients in complex and high-stakes disputes, crisis management situations, and estate matters across domestic and international representations. I have close ties with the firm and have placed two associates there.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and preparation of legal documents including wills, trusts, LLC agreements, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
• Drafting prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and out-of-court settlement agreements
• Estate and trust administration matters
• Legal research on related private client issues

What the Firm Seeks:
• About two to four years of experience in a BigLaw/BigLaw-equivalent law firm
• Significant interest in private client work

What the Firm Offers:
• Base salary of about $190,000 - $230,000, plus discretionary bonus
• Annual billable hours target of 1800
• Four to five days in office per week
• Collegial atmosphere with many former BigLaw attorneys
• Sophisticated clientele and complex, high-stakes matters
