Elite caliber NY IP boutique law firm seeking an associate with about 2-5+ years of experience to handle US trademark and design patent work.  The position will be broad in scope, including counseling, clearance, prosecution and maintenance of trademarks and design patents belonging to some of the most famous brands in the world.  Strong law firm background and academic credentials; NY Bar admission; and registration as a patent attorney with the USPTO or eligibility to take exam are all required. Successful candidates will have at least some patent experience, with specific design patent experience a plus. Compensation will depend on experience—Base salary will likely be in the range of high $100,000s -$200,000+, and the firm has also historically offered significant hours-based and discretionary bonuses.
