A mid-sized, multi-practice law firm seeks to hire for its midtown Manhattan office (attorneys are expected in the office two to three days per week) an experienced business litigator (about 10-20 years) with state and federal court experience and who is admitted in both NY and NJ. The role focuses on breach of contract matters, shareholder disputes, and partnership disputes. The attorney should have significant experience managing cases and taking depositions. NJ litigation experience is required, as the role involves matters in NJ courts and occasional travel within the state. Securities arbitration or FINRA experience is a plus. Business originations are not required. Base salary is likely $235,000-$300,000, depending on experience, plus a likely bonus of $25,000-$50,000. I have placed five attorneys with the firm.
