Non-public search for a high-end, well established, full-service, midsized law firm in midtown Manhattan (4 days expected in the office per week) seeking to hire a senior corporate attorney (about 7-15 years of experience). The role will focus on general corporate and transactional work, including M&A, advising on cross-border joint ventures, and finance deals; the attorney would also work on joint venture-related and partnership matters, and familiarity with such deals is important. The firm represents a number of high-net-worth individuals, many of whom live outside the U.S., and the role will involve significant interaction with these clients. The firm offers a reasonable work/life balance (about 1800-2000 hours annually), good hands-on responsibility, a friendly atmosphere, and an impressive set of attorneys (including former Cravath; Paul, Weiss; Latham; and Proskauer attorneys). The total annual compensation will likely be about $250,000-$350,000. The firm also offers a percentage of originations, a profit-sharing plan, and an excellent health insurance plan.
