A mid-sized law firm with a strong securities/capital markets practice that seeks to hire for its midtown Manhattan office (expected in office about two to three days per week) an experienced securities attorney for a role focused on managing the corporate/securities department, including serving as the assigning partner, dealing with quality control, creating form/model documents, and serving as a resource to attorneys who need help on deals. Although the role itself would not involve doing deal work, the firm seeks someone with extensive securities experience who knows how to run transactions and understands the nuances of securities work. The hours are good: typically nine to six. Base compensation is likely three hundred to three hundred fifty thousand, plus a likely bonus of twenty to fifty thousand.
