We have been retained on a non-public search by a high-end, multi-practice, national plaintiff firm that seeks to hire for its Chicago office (official policy is four days expected in office per week) a public entity litigation associate with at least four years of substantial hands-on litigation experience and excellent writing skills. Attorneys with prior experience (plaintiff-side or defense-side) related to matters such as product defects, infrastructure defects, contamination, or consumer protection, and who are comfortable in a public-facing role (for example, experience in a state attorney general’s office) are encouraged to apply. The firm has a vibrant practice representing public entities, which encompasses many active matters. The base salary is likely $140,000 to $185,000, depending on experience, plus a discretionary bonus that depends on individual and firm performance.
