Matrimonial & Family Law Associate — Chicago (Hybrid)
A well-established, entrepreneurial mid-sized law firm seeks to hire a matrimonial and family law associate to join its Chicago office (four days per week in-office). This role is for an experienced associate attorney (about five or more years of matrimonial and/or family law experience) who is looking to work in a vibrant, thriving practice with a meaningful presence in the Chicago market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle sophisticated matrimonial and family law matters, including complex financial and custody issues
• Manage contested matrimonial matters with increasing independence, through resolution
• Maintain direct client contact and assist with case strategy and execution
• Support partners in the continued growth of the firm’s family law practice
What the Firm Seeks:
• Five or more years of high-net-worth matrimonial and/or family law experience
• Meaningful litigation and hearing experience
• Growing knowledge of Chicago-area matrimonial courts and judges
• Ability to manage cases with limited supervision and work directly with clients
• Willingness to work in-office four days per week
• Minimum 1,550 billable hours annually
What the Firm Offers:
• Base salary of approximately $150,000–$160,000, depending on experience
