A well-established, mid-sized law firm based in midtown Manhattan (four days expected in office per week) is seeking to hire a litigation associate with 2-3+ years of experience in general commercial and ideally IP litigation.  The firm will provide an interesting caseload focusing on business tort, partnership, contract, non-compete, IP, trade secret, advertising, privacy/publicity and communications disputes. An ideal candidate will be currently employed at a peer New York City law firm, possess good academic and professional credentials, and have strong interpersonal skills. Experience working on any type of the aforementioned cases would be terrific, but absent that, experience in commercial related cases and a demonstrable interest in IP related work will suffice (through, by way of example only, pro bono work, trade association membership, pre-law school experience).  Salary is $130,000-$140,000 or higher depending on the candidate’s ability to persuasively convey their skills at an interview, plus bonus, which can be $15,000-25,000 if someone is performing well.
