A very small boutique commercial law firm based in midtown Manhattan seeks to hire a junior associate (about two to four+ years of experience). The firm has a unique and eclectic combination of mission driven matters and profit-driven complex commercial litigation, including for name brand clients. Substantive areas include business and commercial litigation, land use, zoning and preservation matters, and policyholder-side insurance law; specific experience in any of these areas is not required. The firm seeks an attorney with experience from a law firm or governmental legal department, and the ability to show through prior work that they have excellent writing and research skills.  The salary range is likely one hundred forty to one hundred fifty thousand, plus bonus (which vary depending on firm and individual performance).  Attorneys are expected to work three days per week in the office, and Wednesday is mandatory.  Please email resume to Michael Lord at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for consideration.
