We have been exclusively retained on a non-public search by a well-established company that seeks to hire an experienced paralegal (5+ years) for a role focused on corporate entity maintenance, and legal department process and workflow management. In addition to sophisticated corporate entity management and legal operations experience, the company seeks a paralegal with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized U.S. college or university, an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate, prior experience and aptitude with CRM’s (such as Agiloft or Legal Tracker), and someone who is articulate, organized, collaborative, and a self-starter. The legal department consists of a small, high-performing team of 10+ professionals, offering excellent training and a highly cohesive (high morale and virtually no attrition), supportive environment. Base salary is likely about $125,000 to $135,000, with upward potential; the annual bonus is likely about $20,000 of base salary, and they offer an excellent healthcare plan, a 401(k) match, a profit-sharing plan, and hours that are typically 9 to 6 without weekend/holiday work. The person in this role is expected to work in the office two (or more) days per week (Midtown Manhattan or Southern Connecticut), and they can work from home for the remainder of the week.
