Family/Matrimonial Law Associate – NYC

A well-established family law firm seeks to hire an experienced family/matrimonial or litigation attorney for a role focused on all areas of family and matrimonial law. The firm offers a friendly environment, an excellent work/life balance, and good mentoring.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3-10 years of matrimonial experience OR litigation experience with interest in transitioning to matrimonial law
• Strong research and writing skills

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Legal research, brief writing, and drafting across all areas of family law
• Develop skills to litigate matters independently

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
• Base salary: $125,000-$150,000, depending on relevant experience
• 25% of collections on business originations
• Health insurance premiums paid for individual coverage
• Retirement plan with matching contributions (after one year)
• NITA training

WORK/LIFE BALANCE:
• 1000-1500 billable hours annually
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office per week (more during trials)
• 3-4 weeks of vacation annually
