We have been retained by a well-established, forty-attorney, plaintiff-side, litigation boutique that seeks to hire for its NYC office—either Brooklyn or lower Manhattan (preferably fully in person, but there may be flexibility)—a junior associate for a position focused on shareholder derivative matters. The firm seeks someone with a strong work ethic and an interest in securities or derivative litigation. They offer a friendly environment and high attorney morale. Base salary would likely be one hundred twenty to one hundred thirty thousand, depending on seniority and experience, plus a year-end bonus of about ten thousand or so (with significant upside beyond that over time), and the attorney would likely work about fifty hours per week. The firm pays an associate’s health insurance premiums, and they offer a percentage match on the 401(k) plan. We have placed three attorneys with the firm and have good ties there.
