We have been retained by a well-established, thriving litigation boutique that seeks to hire a well-credentialed, motivated litigation associate to its team. The firm handles a dynamic mix of commercial (about 50%) and employment matters (about 50%) — spanning contract and partnership disputes, fraud, intellectual property, and employment litigation — and is looking for someone who is eager to grow and ready to contribute from day one. This is a compelling opportunity for a driven litigator who wants meaningful responsibility at a firm with a strong practice and an intimate, friendly culture.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle substantive commercial litigation matters on both the plaintiff and defense side, including contract and partnership disputes, fraud, and intellectual property
• Assist with employment litigation disputes (executive compensation; restrictive covenants, such as non-compete and non-solicitation restrictions, etc.)
• Draft and argue motions, prepare briefs and pleadings, and manage discovery
• Appear in court and conduct depositions as matters require
• Collaborate closely with firm leadership and take ownership of assigned matters with appropriate supervision
What the Firm Seeks
• Approximately 3–6 years of substantial litigation experience
• Strong commercial litigation foundation, with experience in or an interest in employment litigation matters
• Substantive litigation experience including brief writing, motion practice, discovery, and ideally court appearances or oral argument
• Demonstrated work ethic, and drive; an entrepreneurial mindset is a plus
• Strong academic credentials
• New York bar admission required
• Approximately 1,500–1,800 billable hours expected annually

• Base salary of about $215,000–$240,000, depending on experience
